About Puerto Banus - Playground of the rich & famous

The marina of Puerto Banus, built in 1970 by local property developer Jose Banus, has been a favoured playground of the rich and famous for more than 30 years, and epitomizes the glitz and the glamour for which the area has become most famous for. Jose would eventually become the largest residential tourism developer on the Costa del Sol. 

But Banus is not just about big boats; here you will find an equally impressive array of fashion brands, labels, shops and other commercial entities, nestled into the narrow streets and walkways surrounding the multi-million euro yacht berths and high performance cars (You’ll need a private pass to get your car into the port area). But if you feel like flaunting it, and you’ve got something to flaunt, Puerto Banus is most definitely the place to be seen!

Puerto Banus also offers a beautifully maintained beach, ideal for the whole family, with shallow waters and wave breakers, and it’s within walking distance of the port.
